The flagship Intel Core i9-10900X processor lit up in Geekbench
In the database of the popular benchmark, the results of testing the Intel Core i9-10900X processor, which has not yet been announced by the manufacturer, have appeared. The successor to the i9-9900X is built on the Cascade Lake-X architecture and is designed for high-end desktops.
In a single-core test, the processor scored 5204 points, in a multi-core test – 39 717 points, which is 5.71% and 10.34% faster than the similar results of last year’s model. The CPU received 10 cores, 20 threads, and 19.25 MB of L3 cache. The base frequency of the new product is 4 GHz, in boost mode – 4.6 GHz.
According to Intel, the generation of Cascade Lake-X chips will double the performance per dollar invested relative to current counterparts. The appearance of new 14nm processors on the market is scheduled for next month, the exact date of the start of sales and the price of new products have not been announced.
