Samsung will release the world’s first tablet with support for 5G
Samsung, according to network sources, is preparing the world’s first tablet with support for fifth-generation mobile networks (5G).
The device that has not yet been officially presented has the code designation SM-T866N. Mentions of this gadget have already appeared on the websites of the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG organizations.
Observers believe that the SM-T866N will debut in the commercial market under the name Galaxy Tab S6 5G. In other words, the flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S6, presented this summer, will form the basis of the novelty.
Most likely, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G will inherit the key technical characteristics from the progenitor. This is a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, 6 GB of RAM, a 128 GB flash drive, a dual rear camera based on sensors with 13 million and 5 million pixels and an on-screen fingerprint scanner .
Perhaps the Galaxy Tab S6 5G tablet will get more memory – say, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB flash module. However, reliable information on this subject is missing.
The device’s certification for Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG means that the official announcement is just around the corner.
