People are more likely to buy computers for games

According to analysts, for the second quarter of this year, 10.4 million gaming desktop PCs, laptops and monitors were shipped in pieces. Moreover, people are most likely to buy laptops. Growth in this segment was 12.7%.

Analysts believe that by the end of the year 19.4 million laptops (45.3% of the market), 15.6 million desktop computers (36.4% of the market) and 7.8 million monitors (18.3%) will be shipped.

People are more likely to buy computers for games

Note that IDC does not apply to gaming computers on professional GPUs (Quadro and Radeon Pro). As for monitors, gaming experts consider those that support a refresh rate of 100 Hz or higher.
