How To Use The New Lock Screen And Ios 11 Notification Center
In iOS 11, the lock screen and notification center have been updated. Apple decided to combine them into a single whole and call it “Cover Sheet”.
Now, when you swipe down the screen, you will essentially see a lock screen on which all your notifications will be.

How to work with notifications on the lock screen
If you swipe up and down the lock screen, nothing will happen, because notifications are now displayed right on it.
Everything else works the same way. Clicking on a notification using 3D Touch shows additional options (now it works on the iPad).
Swipe left to see options Look and Clear.
Swipe right on the notification and see the option Open. You can click on the “Open” button or continue leading right to open the application.
Clicking on the notification as before opens the application.
When you click on a notification on a locked phone, a screen will appear asking you to enter a password or use Touch ID.
How to use the notification center
When you swipe down from the very top of the screen, you will open the lock screen.
There will be notifications on it. If you swipe to the right, you will see widgets, and if you swipe to the left, open the camera.
Time and a player with music are now also displayed in the notification center.
How to hide message previews
This is a new feature of iOS 11. It allows you to disable the message preview of all your applications. They can be hidden permanently or only on a locked screen.
Step 1: Open Settings and go to Notifications.
Step 2: Select Thumbnail Display.
Step 3: Next select If unlocked or Never.
You can hide notifications of only some applications. In the Notifications section, select the application you need and click Show thumbnails at the bottom of the screen.
New design notifications
Apple has redesigned notifications. Now instead of a sign in the center of the screen, banners appear at the top.
They will be displayed until you take any action with them.
If you do not want the notifications to not disappear, go to the section Notifications in the settings and under the switch Banner display select Temporarily.
Hide notification history
If you want to see notifications only on the lock screen, but not in the notification center, you can turn off the function Show in History in the Notifications section in Settings.
