GoPro Hero8 Black camera debuts: HyperSmooth 2.0 stabilization and digital lenses
GoPro announces next-generation action camera: Hero8 Black
The novelty is enclosed in a durable sealed enclosure: it is not afraid of diving under water to a depth of 10 meters. There was a built-in mount: in the lower part there are special flip “ears” made of metal.
Numerous video recording modes are implemented: for example, in 4K format, the shooting speed reaches 60 frames per second, in 2.7K format – 120 frames per second, and in 1080p format – 240 frames per second.
With three microphones and wind noise reduction, you can enjoy natural sound even when recording materials at high speed.
The greatly enhanced HyperSmooth system – HyperSmooth 2.0 – now offers several levels of stabilization. The user has a set of four digital lenses: narrow, linear without distortion, wide and SuperView.
In LiveBurst mode, shooting takes 1.5 seconds before and after pressing the shutter button: this allows you to choose the best frame from 90 photos.
The camera is equipped with a USB Type-C port, microSD slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters, a touch screen and an additional small display in the front. Dimensions are 66.3 × 48.6 × 28.4 mm, weight – 103 g. The battery with a capacity of 1220 mAh is responsible for the power.
